Battle For The Arts is a brand new art experience like you haven't seen before. Armed with only a marker, artists compete to create the best drawing within an allotted time. The victors are determined by the crowd. The battles continue night after night until only one artist stands victorious!
This year the battle will culminate in a gallery style open house. The art will be auctioned off to raise funds for the Sioux Empire Arts Council.

Battle For The Arts is every 1st and 3rd Thursday at 9 pm at Club David!

So...what is Battle For The Arts?
In a nutshell, Battle For The Arts is a way for art to become fun again. Artists are set up in bracketed tournament to go head to head. Each night of the tournament, two artists create large scale drawings armed only with a marker. No sketches or additional materials are allowed. The crowd watches and cheers them on, ultimately determining the victor. That artist continues to move up the ranks until there is an ultimate showdown between the two favorites. On the last night of competition, an overall winner is declared!
